I always said I got my dog used. He was going to be put to sleep because his owner had Alzheimers and was being put in nursing home. I took him and he was a joy.
Mocha was a minature poodle. He was a cross between a white and apricot, with a pink nose and coffee colored eyes. He had been well trained and filled a big hole in my life.
I have had both my children move away from home, divorced and had five family members die since I have had him. When I asked my vet about giving Mocha away because I was in school full time and I didn’t feel like I was taking good care of him, Dr. Wilson said Mocha was the only stable thing I had and I couldn’t do that. He was right.
I had to say goodbye today, all those times the vet and I thought he had tonsilitis, he had a tumor growing in his throat and
he could not breath today.
I love you Mochie and
I hope your playing with Grandma.
Your Mom
