by Jacquie A. Blake / Mommy

I got you as a gift from your Dad in January 1990. We knew the moment our eyes met that we would be forever bonded. You were my little velcro dog and followed me everywhere. In 1995 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to spend time in the hospital, then 6 months of chemo. You never left my side and you were the reason I got up in the mornings so we could go for our nice long walks. You kept me going and here it is 9 years cancer free and I owe so much of it to you being my faithful and loving friend. I wish I’d known how much pain you were in…you never whimpered, never complained until that final day. You will always be my special angel dog, my baby dog and you will always be in my every thought. I hope you will visit me some day…I miss you terribly.

Loving you always my baby dog,
Jacquie A. Blake
