I lost my dog to kidney failure in November 2008. We were together for 17 years, I had her from a puppy. My vet came to my home so both Jasmine and myself would be in the comfort of our home for the remaining time we had together. Once I let her go, I stepped outside and looked up to the sky as I sobbed and there, like a miracle was a double rainbow. Since then I have seen many rainbows and I get butterflies knowing that it’s Jasmine looking in on me and wanting to let me know that she’s fine.
We’ll meet again over the rainbow bridge.
