One day a bundle of joy came into my life, and your name was Iggy.
Iggy, you were more than I could have ever imagined. Unlike most ferrets, you would never bite. You were the sweetest most gentle creature ever.
You brought me nothing but laughter and joy. And boy were you an attention hog. You would constantly do things simply for attention.
Though the cancer took you away from me, the cancer cannot take your legacy away. I will always treasure our experiences together. Like you taking my keys and my Gameboy, like you taking my Legos. You were always there to give laughter and joy whenever it was needed. Mom just called, and she already misses you. We will not forget you.
I’m sure neither will Ralph. He loved you little buddy.
I used to love the way you would sleep in my cheese hat or try to take it, even though it was three times larger than you were. Also your fascination with shoes was so cute.
I held you in my arms until the very end, and I would not want it any other way. I may not have been able to provide you with everything, or give you the best life possible, but I tried. God will take care of you now, and you will never have to worry. You will never go a minute without wonderful food, freshwater, and you will be warm all the time now. Please do not forget me though.
Say hello to Gretchen for me, okay?
I love you little buddy, you were my little guy,
my little man, my best friend.
