If only people were like dogs
Maybe then the world would get along
Dogs don't judge on color looks beliefs and flaws,
They love trust and forgive without cause
They don't care what you have or what you owe
They just want to be where you are and go where you go,
Always eager to protect and to please
They share your sadness when you grieve
An unconditional love they posess
A rare quality in a world of selfishness
Never expecting anything in return
If only from a dog we could all learn
