Birdie,

We don’t know what happend to you Saturday night…did you slip out the door…did you find another way out? We know you didn’t want to leave, but your curioius ferret nature brought
the mischevious side out in you.

I pray to God that the noise we heard Saturday night was not you in pain. We didn’t know you were out. You being gone is so heavy on our hearts. Being at work is torture, but being home is worse.

We have no closure. We don’t know where you are or what happened to you. You love to snuggle in your blankies and you have no idea how painful it is to think we won’t see you do that again. We still have hope…but that may be foolish.

We love you Birdie. SO very much. We miss you and pray to Lord Jesus that if you did leave this earth, that it was quick and painless. I would rather just have you back though. We don’t talk at home, we just sit and cry. Every noise we hear brings more pain.

We love you, honey.
I will never ever ever forget your beautiful little petite face.

Always My Little Birdie Lou,
Joie and Erma
