I will always remember your long, powerful legs that once propelled you around the yard. I will remember when you would get your droopy lips caught on your teeth. I will remember your little dance that you did when you were excited. I will remember all of the “talking” you did. I will remember the way you used to entice your brother Gus to play by pouncing back and forth. I will remember how you were our little weather predictor. I will remember seeing you on the chair and how you were all legs and the funny positions you managed to put them in. I will remember you tilting your head to the side and looked exactly like the RCA dog. I will remember kissing your soft, smooth head.
My heart aches for you. I keep hearing you jingling, tapping, whining, talking. I can’t get you out of my mind and I don’t know that I want to. I miss you so much it hurts. There’s an emptiness
that wasn’t there before.
We will love you forever. You were our first baby, and will always be in our hearts. You were such a beautiful, sweet girl. We love you.
