It has been almost a year now since my Schroder died.
I think of him every day. He was my companion for 16 years and
I have an empty spot in my heart where he use to live.
I since have gotten a new little Dachshund.
He looks a lot like Schroder but he couldn’t ever replace Schroder.
I love him but when I look at him he reminds me
of what once was.
As the days get warmer and the summer approaches I miss taking
Schroder to the park. He loved going there and chasing those tennis balls
all over Gods creation.
I pray Schroder is in a better place.
Over the rainbow with everything is little heart desires.
He was my faithful companion for more than a decade and he
deserves to have all the love and all the peace a dog can get.
I pray God is keeping him well until we meet again
