Pansy was my little Shih-Tzu who passed away Nov 4, 2002. I knew when I got her four years ago that she was old and had been abused, used as a puppy mill. I was determined to make the last years of her life the best they could be. She blossomed like a little rosebud with love and care. She had a very good time and soon ruled the household and the people around her. She loved being close to me and I adored her.
She captured everyone’s heart and was a ray of sunshine to me. I thank God for having her in my life, she made me a better person and was a special gift from God. She suffered greatly her last 2 days here on this earth struggling to breathe. I could see the look of distress and wanting me to help her in her eyes. As hard as it was to let her go, I loved her to much to watch her suffer anymore.
She deserved some peace and no more pain. With the help of my vet, we helped her cross over to a better place. I know she’s running and playing in the field’s now. But I know she’s looking over her shoulder now watching for me to come. I asked God to send a special angel to get her and I know he did, from the last look of peace on her little face.I thank God for the special time I had with my special baby girl.
