Since the day that Boomer became a part of our family,we had many precious moments. As far as his health was concerned,he was dealt a bad hand.
So to see Boomer leave our family on 9/24/00, was very hard. Boomer battled bad allergies, a heart condition,and he was losing his sight from a very young age.
Through it all he never gave us any kind of problems, always quiet, always brave. He always wanted to be near us, as much as possable right up till the end.
Boomer had a alot of heart and spirt, so much so that he waited till morning to take his journey. He made sure we were there to say goodbye and for this I am so greatful.
In our hearts we know we did all we could to take care and save him from more harm, and I am sure he knew it too.
Not a day goes by that we do not think about Boomer and we miss him so, but we also know that he is at peace now.
