It has been 6 1/2 years (June 11, 2000)since I held you in my arms here at home as you left Grampa and me. It seems like yesterday that we would go for long walks together, you, me and Grampa. Grampa is 86 now and he still dreams about you taking him on long walks in his neighbourhood. Your paw prints are still in the cement at his house, we think you had decided to leave your prints there to make sure that we would not forget you. We thought the pain of losing you would go away but it is still there and you are still in our hearts. The cottage isn’t the same without you and I can still see you sitting in the sun on the porch watching for Grampa to visit. We will meet again and we know you will be waiting there for us.
In our Hearts forever with Love,
