Dearest Bogus,

It’s coming up on Christmas, three years or so that you left this world to go on to the Rainbow Bridge. I’m sorry I’m crying as I type this, but I sometimes miss you very much, and this is one of those times.

I can’t believe how big, healthy, strong and smart that Seven’s kitties have grown. Claw is just breathtaking. He’s going to be a full 30 lbs at full growth. Fire is not as big as Claw, but he’s pure solid muscle and sooo sweet. Most of the time. Sometimes he’s so much like you were, just full of the dickens when he does not get what he wants right away. BabyGirl (Thunder) is just ultra affectionate and loving, but as you know, full of mischief. I can’t help myself, I love her so dearly. Angus (Punkun) has turned out to be the most sweet tempered kitty out of all of them. I believe it’s because he’s eternally grateful that he was found and brought to the best environment and home where he needed to be. Seven’s such a character. She growls almost all the time, but she’s very playful at times, and sometimes ultra affectionate. As long as it’s her idea of course. Reminds me of you.

Thank you a million times over for sending Cloud Warrior to us when we needed him the most and he needed us. He has been the most wonderful blessing to us and the perfect kitty
to follow in your pawprints.

I count every day that passes as one day closer to the day I will see you again at Rainbow Bridge. The day that I will be young, healthy and
strong again. Forever. And when that day comes, I will run to you just like you will run to me, tail up, with that special high pitched baby cry
that always did and always will tug at my heartstrings.

Take care of Bugsy, Willow, Booger, and mother Layla. Take special care of Patches. My little wayfarer that I couldn’t save. At least I was
able to help him cross to the Bridge peacefully. Thank you for even teaching me that bittersweet lesson too. That was a really tough one.

I will light your special candle on Christmas Eve and remember……

With all my love,
Renee Hartman
