Sedoso came into my life in 1979. I got him from a breeder and he caught my attention because he was the only puppy in the litter that wasn’t barking or jumping. He was standing by himself with a very peaceful look on his little face and I fell in love with him.

He immediately became my friend, my little companion and always stayed close by my side. He was sweet and gentle and
loved to be loved.

As he grew older, Sedoso developed epilepsy which was controlled with medication. He would always seek me out when he felt a seizure coming on and I would hold him and whisper to him
until it had passed.

Sadly, After 6 1/2 years of his unconditional love, I had to find another home for him because my husband at that time, developed severe allergies and asthma. I know that in doing so, I saved Sedoso’s life because the marriage became abusive and
Sedoso was not being treated kindly.

A wonderful elderly lady gave him a good home and a few years after going to his new home, Sedoso developed cancer of the liver and had
to be assisted to the Bridge.

I visited him in his new, forever home and he always remembered me, gave me little Silky kisses and brought me his favorite toy
so I would play with him.

It broke my heart to give him up and to this day I still cry when I remember the day I drove him to this lady’s house. I hope he’s forgiven me and that he knows how much I love him and that he will always live
in my heart and memories.

I love you precious Sedoso,
Maria
