Mitsy
August 1, 1986 – September 30, 2002
You came into our lives a spunky little kitten, who soon filled our lives with love. You romped and played with your companion Bear (a Yorkie Pom) who was one year older than you. It became very evident early on that your were “Boss Cat”. You really knew how to put Bear in his place.
Your life was full of ups and downs. Your loving owner left you behind when she got married, but she never forgot you. You were the first thing that she looked for when she came to visit. You mourned the loss of your special pal Bear when he passed away in January of 2001. You never seemed to get over the loneliness that lingered in the house. Your days of playing chase where now over and your were content to sleep most of the day.
Your place of residence changed in May of 2002. You adjusted well to your new surroundings, but it became quite evident that you were not quite the same Mitsy that you once were. You started losing weight and were diagnosed as having kidney failure. Over the past few months you seemed to go downhill very quickly.
On the morning of September 30, 2002 you were scheduled to have a vet visit. In my heart I knew that I would not be bringing you back home. You were tired and very ill and the look in your eyes told the story. “Please let me go”. It was quick and painless for you, but a piece of me died with you that day. The house is now empty without you. I know that in time I will get over the loss, but not the love that you gave us all.
Mitsy go and play with Bear and wait for us to join you in our final walk. We love you Mitsy, Rest in Peace.
Love,
Tina, John, Matthew, Nolan,
Mark, Sue, Ben, Alexis and Richard
In our hearts forever,
Mary Jane
