July 18, 2004 Smokey passed to Rainbow Bridge and a big piece of us went with her. Oreo misses you so much, shes not the same since you’ve been gone. We adopted Ashley in Smokey’s Honor but it isn’t the same without our Precious Smokey. We miss playing with you, your string is put away along with your Bowl. We miss your sweet meow and watching you and Oreo wrestle every night. Momma misses giving you your daily shrimp. You enjoyed that so much, at least twice a day.
You are still so special to our hearts. I miss petting your sweet gray fur and your roaring purr. We miss you coming in and telling us goodnight, something you did every night. My sweet Smokey, it’s Momma. Baby girl, I miss you so very much. I think of you everyday, on the way to work and back, before my day starts, when I wash my face every night before bed.
You will live forever in my heart. I look forward to the day I meet you at the Rainbow Bridge to cross over to Heaven with you and BooBoo Kitty. I know we will one day be together again. Part of our family is missing and the grief we have is so deep. Dad isn’t the same without you. We failed you that day and feel so guilty.
You were here for such a short time, Five years and Nine months. We Thank God for the time and Love we did and do still share.
Now You belong to Heaven.
