Aberdeen,

We didn’t even plan on taking home a dog the day we saw you but you won us all over and came home with us. I named you, a name I bet no other dog has. You were with us for 8 1/2 years and sometimes we took you for granted. I’m sorry I didn’t get to walk you more or play with you. I am so glad I came home from college instead of staying because then I was able to spend the last few months taking care of you. I know you didn’t like going to the vet every week but you know we only did it to help you. I am glad that I stayed up with you and took the time to get you to eat. I hate cancer and doctors (and vets) offices but I took care of you the best I could and I know they did everything they could for you. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend.
I miss you so much. Even though Catherine wants another dog and I will probably get one (or a few) someday, you will always be my puppy.
My brave Aberdeen.
I love you and will see you
again someday.

Love,
Nicole Guido
