Though it’s been many years since I lost my first friend, Crystal, and many other pets in between, Chico, Satin, Lady Christina, Poinsetta, Buffy, Buffy, and more recently Lady NoseMarie.
My heart was sad losing you all but most were when I was a child since 5 of you were in my life at the same time. Then 2 and then most recently my little girl Nosey. I feel my friends growing up were like sisters or brother. But my lil “durl” Nosey was like a daughter to me. Being without her for the last 6+ yrs has been truly lonely. There’s something about being the sole person responsible for her that was a bond that could never be changed or broken through life or death. I lost her before any of my parents and now that they are gone too I long for her to help me through … but she’s not here to hold or cry on. You can lean on other humans for so much but there is something so healing about my lil pup that I miss so so much. I know I’ll see you again my precious family but until then … you are in my HEART forever.
