Dear “Floyd”,
September 11 will mark your being gone one month. I never thought I would lose you so soon. You could have had more years to come. I wish we had known about your underlying problem. That could have saved you! Now, all I can do is honor you in death. I wish I could have you back. You were more than a cat/pet to me. You were my beautiful baby boy….and always will be. I hope you are sleeping peacefully.
