by Paula Bingeman / your mommy

My beloved girl Sheena, today was the hardest day for your daddy and me – we had to let you go. we didn’t want to but those old hips of yours gave us no choice. You didn’t show it but those bad hips had to be painful. we didn’t want to see you struggle to walk, that’s not the Sheena we know or the Sheena you wanted to be. Our Sheena wanted to run. Our Sheena was 14 going on 6 but those hips wouldn’t let you go anymore, so we did what was right for you because of our love for you and the years of love you gave us. Our hearts are heavy now and the tears flow but we will see each other again my beloved Sheena. I love you and miss you.

With love,
Paula Bingeman
