by Robert and Anne Parker / Molly, sweet girl

Molly was a stray, found by Louise, a co-worker who was driving to work through the city of Chula Vista to Linda Vista in San Diego. Molly and her two siblings were approximately 8 weeks old, following their mother Chow on a busy street. Louise was afraid they’d get hit by a car, so she scooped up the puppies and followed the mother home. The owner said the Chow was his but not the puppies.
The mother was obviously lactating!

Louise brought the puppies to work where they lay at her feet all day, and I was so happy to get to adopt the adorable fluffy black and tan puppy. Her father obviously was a German Shepherd. Molly brought us 10 years of joy and happiness. She was so sweet, loving, and funny…a wonderful companion.

Molly had to be put to sleep on April 21, 2009. We found out she had cancer that had spread to her organs. It was the worst day of my life and my husband’s life. We couldn’t let her continue to suffer.
She was so brave.

Molly, sweet girl…rest in peace!
