It’s with many tears in my eyes
that we said our last good byes.
It is said that parting is sweet sorrow
but for you there will be no earthly
tomorrow.
I’ll always want to know
if you knew I loved you so.
When you take a dog into your home
you will never ever be alone.
So I’ll hope you crossed the rainbow bridge
today.
and with other’s who have gone before you’ll
play.
