by Stella Richardson / Mum and Dad

It is one year tomorrow since Dad and I had to make the hardest decision of our lives to let you go to sleep. You came to us not as a puppy but as a lovable character known to many in the neighbourhood as “Tyson”. We tried to resist your cheeky ways but in the end welcomed you home! You made us so proud, and it was hard to see you getting so tired, even though you were at least 16yrs. As the saying goes as your pain ends ours begins. The last year has been a roller coaster of emotions, guilt, sadness, but also realising how priviledged we were to have shared these precious years with you. Here is a tribute to you Ty and to all those who are with you at the Rainbow Bridge:- “So I am glad that my loved one has gone, no but that the earth he played and lived on was my earth too, that I had known and loved him and that my love I had shown. Tears over his departure? No, a smile that I had walked with him a little while”. Sweet dreams Angel.
