You were the warrior, always on guard in our household, just like your namesake “Shaka Zulu”. You were a gift to us for a very short time in our life. From the moment we met at your birth and bringing you home at 6 weeks old, you have been with us thru thick and thin. Even up until the end, you still gave us spurts of the old spunky Shaka.
You were a loyal companion to all of us and at times we probably took you for granted. But you were so loved by all of us and your parting has left a void in our household that will never be filled.
But to see you suffer was unbearable and we had to give you the dignity you deserved and to tell you it was ok to rest and be at peace. Sunny is waiting for you and you will not be lonely.
You loved us unconditionally, even with our shortcomings. You were one of a kind, thank you for all that you have given us and we will see you again. Go in peace my Shaka Waka
