I was lucky to have her as my friend. A friend who knew my heart and soul as well as my face. She knew my feelings without a spoken word. She made me smile with her silly looks or comfort with just the rest of her head on my lap. She was genuinely sweet,smart, protective, loving, trusting, and trustworthy.
I always knew that there would be nothing she wouldnt do for our family. She was the mother of 9 puppies and as she cared for them I knew that she was no doubt an earthly angel. She could smell out chocolate hidden in even the best places! Her love is what lingers here with me and makes my heart ache that she left me behind.
Maggie was my gift from God that helped to heal my broken heart when I was certain Id never feel Joy again. Its becase I know the Lord has her with him now that I draw my strength so that someday I may see her again. I pray that she gets to run through heaven and eat chocolate as she always tried to on earth,she has earned it.
