One magical day, a very special
little one found her place in my heart.
She brought to me a gift,
that I may know love truly has no limits.
That no matter what we may go through in life,
or how great the pain, still we can find the strength to give love to another. In turn, that is what makes us strong …Our ability to love, and to be loved, in our most darkest of hours.
Her name: Rachel Rattie,
and she will forever and one day more,
be my “miracle”
Life is a miracle … all life,
no matter how tiny or fragile .
And ”love” has the power to nurture
that miracle and give it “lifeforce”
For not to know love, is not to know life,
in its most pure form.
If we can learn to measure life
by the amount of love
we can both give and receive, and not
by how long or short, rich or poor
that life may be, then we own
the greatest treasure this earth
has to offer. A treasure that if shared,
comes back to us,
and can make us rich in the most
powerful and beautiful way possible.
It is available to all of us,
if we only look deep enough ..
into our heart and soul.

My baby Rachel, her Brother Rune and their sister Ruby were born on August 7/2004. They all, eventually suffered from seizures/or seizure related problems. Tiny Rachel being the most severely affected through most of her short little life. Although controlled for awhile.
Baby Rachel left for the ‘Bridge’ on the evening of April 14/2005 —
