Our little dove , actually
our little cat “Paloma” was
adopted from an animal rescue
center on February 9, 2007.
She was a loveable companion
to our older male cat and they
were the best of friends.
She was always there to play
and bring a smile to our faces
and she was the cutest little
girl of a cat, anyone could ever
know.
Her fur was as white as fresh
snow and she always was there
to greet us in the early mornings
and she’d often touch my face with
her delicate paws to show me love.
When I was sick, she would comfort
me at my side and she always made
me feel better with her beautiful
face looking up at me with a ‘meow’
that made me melt.
On January 27,2008, while she rolled
and played on the ground, she stretched
and without warning, fell into a seizure
and went into shock.
We raced to the nearest pet ER in
the hopes of somehow saving her or
finding some sign of life, but it
was too late and the nurse lay her
little body down to rest.
We stayed in the room with her
and we gave her one last hug and
told her that we loved her.
We were deeply saddened and
overwhelmed and did not want to
believe she was gone.
In her short but happy life,
she gave us so much warmth and
love and we truly miss her.
It’s been very difficult knowing
that she has passed on, but we know
that her beautiful memories,spirit
and the time she spent in our family,
will live on forever.
It was truly an honor to have been
able to adopt such a beautiful little
cat that looked like a delicate little dove
to be part of our family.
Her nickname was ‘Cahoots’ and WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU! WE LOVE YOU!WE MISS YOU!WE ARE THINKING OF YOU EVERY DAY AND FOREVER!
All Our Love and Hugs,
Cahoots |
