Found, abandoned in the streets, starving. We don’t know why; perhaps because you were old. Knowing you spent your last year in a place where not only were you were fed, kept clean and warm, but also received medical care, and most important, love and affection is a comfort.
My gracious little lady.
How I will miss seeing you on top of the refrigerator, climbing out of your bed, greeting me with headbutts. You were a brave little girl right to the end. I will miss you very much. Say hello to Dickie for me. He is at the bridge waiting for you and someday me.
