Cappuccino by Em / Mom

We brought her home from the Vet who said they had found her under a porch, and he had given her shots and she wouldn’t have kittens. The reason we called her Cappuccino, is because the day we brought her home, she scooted under the couch, but when the girls finally got her out and she let them pet her, we thought someone was making cappuccino in the sputtering pot she purred so loud.

For 17 years she was part of our family. The first 12 in Kingston, NY. With cold winters her fur would be really thick. When she slept on the footstool by the woodstove, she was way bigger than the footstool. She was true friends with Espresso, the old poodle. She kept rodents from the place, and slept in the sun by the pool in the summer. The house was sold; the poodle gone. She didn’t much enjoy her move from NY to Florida, but tolerated it here until last evening.

We will miss her – but none will miss her more than Em, Laina, Liz and PS.

With Love,
Cappuccino
