Black shiney fur and soft dewy eyes,
the fact that we chose you was no real surprise.
You looked like a panther so sleek and so slender,
your ladylike way so gentle and tender.
Your sparkle and mischief would
brighten our day.
We love you so much and
wish you could stay.
A lovely lady, so soft to the touch,
God only knows we miss you so much.
You loved your choccy and bickkies galore.
You always had room for a little bit more.
Christmas was special.
