My dearest Casey,
You were my precious baby. You gave us all such unconditional love and affection. You loved life, and were a crazy girl. I’ll never forget how you loved to play ball – you would have gone on playing forever. I’ll never forget how you bounced around when you knew dinner was coming, or you were going for a ride in the car. You always had that wonderful “puppy smell” and those velvety soft ears.
You and Sammy have taught me what a wonderful reward it is to have the love of a dog. You left me too early and too suddenly….remember when I used to kiss you goodnight and whisper to you that you couldn’t leave us for a good long time? You were supposed to continue growing into that “ole girl” with the white chin. I know that somehow this is another lesson that you are teaching me in your special way.
You are missed terribly – and loved forever. I will always keep you in my heart. I hope somehow in your gentle way, you will help ease this pain with the memories we have of you. Sammy and Petey miss you too. Daddy & I love you baby girl – we hope that you are happily romping and playing ball with the other fur babies in heaven.
