I would like to say that there was never a freer spirit than our Cassie. She came into our hearts as a little adorable puppy. She was always so happy and lively. She never slowed down for a minute. Then one awful day cancer tried to steal away her joy for living. This could not be done. She was still as happy as she could be under the circumstances. She still tried so hard to be the family dog.
On Wednesday we had to say goodbye to her. She left in as much comfort and reasurance as we could give her. She gave us unconditional love for 2 & 1/2 years. We love and miss her so much!
