‘ Charlie ‘

Poodle
Charlie came to me at a time when I really needed him.
I had lost my other poodle of fifteen and one half years and
was taking it very hard. We have no one that raises poodles in our
town so my brother found a breeder where he lived eighty miles away.
She did happen to have a batch of puppies almost ready to go.
I waited and in two weeks was able to visit them and right away
fell in love with the runt.
In his days Charlie suffered from many different things and
he was always a trooper through it all.
He did have Schnauzer brothers to help him.
He had congestive heart failure and after sitting up with him all
night crying I knew the time had come.
I was with him at the end in the doctors office and he just looked
at me like he was thanking me for helping him to suffer no more.
I do have a Schnauzer but I don’t think I will
ever be able to have another poodle.
He was truly loved.
