Chubby by Tracy / You family

Chubbs,

We’ve watched you grow from a puppy. You have been such a special part of our lives. Thousands of memories run through my head each time I think of you. My heart aches and I can’t hold back the tears. You disappeared one warm spring evening. We’ve searched for you days and nights, hours on end. We’ve prayed for your return. Not knowing what has happened to you makes us ache. Praying you’re well where ever you are and that one day
you’ll make it back to our arms.

When I must leave you.
By Helen Steiner Rice

When I must leave you for a little while,
Please do not grieve and shed wild tears,
And hug your sorrow to you through the years,
But start out bravely with a gallant smile,
And for my sake and in my name,
Live on and do all things the same,
Feed not your loneliness on empty days,
But fill each waking hour in useful ways,
Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer,
And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near,
And never, never be afraid to die,
For I am waiting for you in the sky!

With love,
Chubby
