Chuck by Tina Theis / Tina

This tribute is in loving memory of my dog “chuck”, who I will never forget and never stop loving.

Chuck was born in Minnesota in April 1994. We moved to Texas in December 1995. Chuck loved to go for rides in the car and for long walks. Before he became ill and had to be put on a special diet, he loved eating McDonald’s hamburgers.

Chuck was 9-1/2 years old when he had to be put down due to complications from renal (kidney) failure. He first went into renal failure without any warning, when he was only 6 years old.

Chuck spent the last 3-1/2 years of his life, in and out of I.C.U., at a veterinarian hospital. He would have to be hooked up to IV fluids for 24 hours a day, sometimes for 3 to 4 days at a time. Chuck put up a long hard fight, but on November 11, 2003, he was called to go to a better place.

Even though Chuck has been gone now for awhile, hardly a day goes by when I don’t think of him.

Chuck was my best friend.

I hope and pray I’ll see him again some day.

Love always,
Chuck
