Cockapoo
She was a little ball of fluff that came into my husband
Larry’s and my life by accident.
We worked as apartment managers in the state of Texas,
Cinnamon was found in a vacate apartment in a closet of an
apartment vacated 3 days prior to her being located in a
bedroom closet. Needless to say she became part of our family.
She lived to be the ripe old age of 17 1/2 and was the love of
my husbands life. When we had to put her down my husband
had her cremated and said that when he passed away,
I should have him cremated and to bring his and Cinnamons
ashes (or Shorty as he called her) back to California and let
their ashes go together back on a mountain in a field they both loved.
My husband passed away in Nov. of 1998 and his wishes
have been granted.
If you would like to know more about Shorty and Larry’s life together read
CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE DOG AND CAT LOVER.
Three weeks before my husband passed away he wrote the story
of his little love and it was published in the October book of 1999
what a memory for me to hold on to for
the rest of my life.
