Cody Valcore by Kimberly Perry / mom

There’s so much to say about Cody. I got him as a 1 and 1/2 yr old. He came from a home who abused him and hurt him. I was 10 and had been praying for a dog for months and one day here came Cody bounding up to me just as happy as a lark!! He was the most handsome dog I have ever seen.

With his curly Q tail and his big sad brown eyes and his 1/2 black mouth that was the chow in him. He made life easy he was my best-friend he knew everything about me good and bad. He knew things that I will never tell me parents. If he could have talked I would have been in trouble.

But, on that mid-spring afternoon I got a call from the vet and they said he was not better but, only worse. His white blood cells were eating his red and he would not make another week. I walked in to the vets crying so hard you would have thought someone had a gun to my head or something. I looked in to his eyes while my heart was breaking.

My friend of nine yrs was leaving me for good. This time no more barking in the morning to get me up cause he wanted food. No more loooong walks to the river so he could play No more chew toys, my horse lost his stall pale, my neighbor dog lost his walking buddy, and we lost a family member. Cody you’ll be in my heart always.
Lots of love to my beloved baby!

I will NEVER forget you and I love you w/everything in me!!
