Conway Puppy by unknown / A Friend

You seemed so exuberant and playful, out running around, just happy to be free. You didn’t realize that your exhilaration would be the cause of your demise. Who knows why you were out in the first place, instead of at home with your family where it was safe. But you were not alone. A kind, caring soul was with you when you took your last breath, stroking your fur, easing you into the next world. Run and play, my furry nameless friend. We’ll meet again.
