COOPER by S. Blainey / Mom, Dad & the Boys

OUR SWEET BOY

Something special, we knew you were,

An angel from heaven, with wings under your fur.

Now you’re not suffering, any more,

But we don’t hear, you bark at the door.

We’ll miss your little tail,

Wagging to greet us, with out fail.

That begging look, you got in your eyes,

Teasing us for one of our fries.

You could gently comfort, with a little nudge,

Or simply bowl us over with one of your hugs.

We will miss your soft silken ears,

That helped to dry so many tears.

Please rest in peace, our sweet boy.

Your short time has given us much joy.
