When we were moving in to our new house, we first met Daisy. She lived with our nieghbor who had one other dog named Diamond. Her first name was Destony. When our neighbor JB moved out of his house, he brought Diamond with him and left Destony(Daisy) with us. By that time she had gotten the name Frosty insted of Destony. JB had said he would come back for her, but he never did. She was kept with us and our three other dogs Jakey, Nando, and Bobo.
We just recently had changed her name to Daisy because of her childhood memories. She had been called Frosty becuase JB left her outside during winter and made fun of her when she had frostbite. She would sleep with me every night, kept me warm every single time.
We moved to a new house. When we moved, all of our dogs started getting out of holes they could dig in the new yard. We kept filling up holes, and then new ones would be dug. About three years later on Thanksgiving day, we were going up to Phoenix to celebrate. Lily my sister was carrying some stuff to the car for the way up and the dogs knocked her down at the door and ran past her outside. We would be late, so we had to leave, leaving the dogs outside, all of them except Jakey, who was being good and didn’t leave. When we got back everyone was cheerful and joyus until we got to the gate. It was bound and tied together with rope.
It had a notice about our dogs tied to it. The Pima Community Dog Control Center had found them out. THey said a bunch of things like they were bitting and what not. Of course I didn’t believe a word of it. The next day, since they had not yet taken them, they came to talk to my mom. She said to me that the only thing we could do was let them take Daisy and her friends! They wouldn’t take Jakey because he hadn’t been causing trouble. I walked all the dogs out to the mobile they were taking my dogs away in. The woman driving acted sweet and innocent as though she wasn’t taking away my best friends. I hugged them and cried, and finally let htem go.
I'm Sooooo Sorry, With Love,
