Dalglish by Ian & Val Fergusson / Ian, Val, & Kettles Fergusson

Though I know I’ll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I’ll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more”
In My Life – Lennon/McCartney

Dalglish:
There is a hole in our lives. A hole we try to ignore. A hole we deny as we fill our days with memories of you. But you are now in a place where you are well again. A place where you can run as fast as you ever ran …where you can jump as high as you ever jumped …where you can play as hard as you ever played. What a joyous feeling it must be; what a glorious sight it must be. Look after our fathers as you looked after us. And remember, Dalglish our protector, Dalglish our peacemaker, Dalglish our mischievious clown, remember to look to the horizon. As you play in whichever golden field you choose …as you romp with Sandy and Pup and Baby …remember to take a moment and look to the horizon. Someday soon, although it will seem like an eternity to us, we will walk over that horizon and our family will be complete again. So, enjoy yourself, eat all the pizza you can eat, kill the squeak in all the squeaky toys you can find. We will see you soon.
