DAVIAN GOLIATH by Donna Cramer / Donna

You were light in the darkness that followed Duke’s death. You brought much joy to Dutchess and me.
I truly believe Duke sent me to rescue you from the neglect you had know for years.
I was so happy to get you, a full grown gorgeous Doberman boy. You really showed them who thought you were not going to get along with other dogs or cats! You even had your very own kitty you chose.
He is missing you now, as we all are.
I am so thankful you told me what to do at the end. I was too scared to make the call on my own. And Jan appreciated the opportunity to say good-bye, too. All due to your plans. Now I am faced with the finality of what to do next, and I await your guidance there.
I can’t seem to move forward until I do.
What ever I end up doing is in no way a reflection or a lack of respect for you, only the hardest of details makes it a choice I have to make.
I want you to be with Duke, and it would be easy for me to visit you there always. In fact I plan on visiting with you whenever you come to see me, however it be.
I never wanted you to feel slighted, and if you ever felt excluded or second best it was only my fault for taking it for granted that you knew how much joy you gave the whole family, especially Dutchess. She is taking care of me, and will continue to talk with me about you. You will not be forgotten. EVER
Our bed feels empty without your head on my chest.
