Dayo came into our lives with his little sister Angel Rose during a very difficult time in our lives. He brought happiness to a family that was going through one of the most difficult times in their lives.
When he was a little baby he would jump all over the place and almost earned himself the name “springer.”
Dayo was such a beautiful cat. He was a flame point Himilayan. He had the fluffiest tail that had a little speck of black in it. Dayo would come up onto your bed in the middle of the night and “mad cow” you. He would nibble on your ears and lick your eyes. No matter what you did to get away Dayo would find you and “mad cow ” you.
Dayo craved attention. He wanted to be itched all day long. If you didn’t pay attention to him he would stand up on his hind legs and pull at your legs with his claws..
ruining many pairs of nylons.
Although Dayo was an inside cat he had a real sense of adventure and would get out on the porch and jump off..
running into the woods and returning hours later. On one of his adventures Dayo was hit by a car.
Everyday we miss you Dayo..but know you are in a better place..leaping through the field with your fellow “hern” your sister Angel. We still find your fluffy hair in places we would never expect. We look forward to seeing you again someday.
