My Darling Devon,
I remember falling in love with you the very first time I saw you when you were just 6 weeks old. You were absolutely adorable. I watched you grow into a stunning handsome young man. I can’t express the sorrow I feel for not having you right behind me when I leave a room, do laundry, clean house, do my yard work, cook supper, go to the grocery store,(even though you got to enjoy sitting in the air conditioned car showing off for the people when they walked by)well, just about everything
we used to do everyday.
Did you realize there was not 1 day of your short life that we didn’t spend together? I’m grateful for that too. I don’t understand why your time with me had to be cut so short. I suppose God needed a special angel to greet the children when they arrived. He must have needed someone that is charming, energetic, outgoing, sincere, well behaved and most of all handsome. But it doesn’t take away the intense pain I have in my heart for not having you by my side. I don’t know how to go on without you Devon.
I would also like to say Thank You, for being such a good listener and never criticizing, passing judgment or making fun of, when at times I probably needed it. You were and always will be my one true best friend. Remember “I wuv you, I weary weary wuv you” Play nice with the children Devon as I know you will. My Darling Devon,
you’re in my heart forever.
