Dio by Tiny Shirley / Tiny

You know how they say a dog is a mans best friend. Well it’s true, my dog Dio was the best friend I never had. He was raised in an abusive family until I took him home with me. My daughter loved to play with him all the time. He would even protect her at night while she slept. No one could ever forget the day he died.

It was raining outside and we were all watching a movie that day. My nephew decided he would let Dio out without a leash on him. That’s when it happened, he was hit by a pizza truck. All my buddies thought it was funny but I cried for days not knowing who would keep me company at night. Who would sleep with my daughter and keep her safe. I buried him at my mother’s house along with all my other deceased pets. I still remember how hard he would make me laugh, how he would want to play all the time, how he was my dog.
That’s why I call him Dio the Great!

Rest In Peace,
Dio
