We rescued Ebony from a family that didn’t treat her right. they were splitting up and asked me if I wanted her because they couldn’t take her to where they were moving. I said yes and gave her to my then boyfriend John as a late Valentines Day present. When he brought her home you could count every rib on her.
Ebony turned out to be the best dog we ever had. We really didn’t consider her a pet she was one of our kids. She went on the road with us when we drove truck. She was a very well behaved, tempered and trained. She did have 4 litters and we kept 2 of her pups and the female is almost exactly like her mom but no dog could ever replace Ebony. She protected us and we protected her.
