Today, you left your illness ravaged body and flew to the stars, becoming One with all of the energy of the Cosmos. I will see you each day in the Sunrise and the Sunset, and in the night sky under which we used to walk every evening, wondering at the Moon together.
I will miss you always, for all of the complexity of your character and personality and your intelligence, for the loyalty and the forgiveness you showed me each and every day of the 13 years we were the best of friends, and for your brave attempt to stay with me, long after you should have gone.
