Ellie by Michael & Heather / Michael, Heather, Diane, Nana & Papa

To My Ellie Girl:

You fought a long hard battle with cancer and you’ve hung in because I wasn’t ready to let you go. I still may not be ready nor will I ever be, but I know it’s your time to leave. I hope you can forgive me for letting you go, but you will feel no more pain and you can be with the peace you deserve. I want you to know that I love you with all my heart and I will never be quite the same without you.
R.I.P. baby girl.

We will all miss you so much. Everyone always commented on what a good hedgehog you were. You would let anyone hold you. You were so carefree and laid back. You touched a special place in all of our hearts and we can never forget that. You tried so hard to fight and to hold on. If only you could have left in a different way, but we know you will be in peace now. You will be in our hearts forever. We love you so much and you will always be Michael’s little girl.

Say hi to Hobbes for us and tell him to be good to you.
