Cat

Elvis was a jet black cat with white feet white whiskers

a white “bow-tie” and a little white on his belly.

The day my husband brought him home he crawled in my lap and

rolled over his back and fell asleep. This cat had a personality like no

other cat I have ever seen. He was an inside cat for several years

but he yearned to go outside so we let him out.

He would come in and out as he pleased.

Before the children were born Elvis slept with me every night.

We often commented that Elvis was our 6 year old daughter’s

“soul mate” after she was born.

Ever since she was born he has looked after her.

He would crawl in her crib and sniff her from head to toe to make

sure she was ok then lay beside her and fall to sleep.

At first this terrified me but I realized he was just making sure

she was ok. He has done this through out the years.

The majority of the pictures of my children Elvis is somewhere in

the picture. Elvis would have put his life on the line for any of us

especially the kids. He was such an affectionate cat and we

all loved his attention as much as he loved ours!

Elvis has been a part of our lives for almost 9 years and he is

going to be missed very much.

We are not sure what happened to him but he had

been missing for about a week when we found him.

We think he may have been hit by a car.

We just want him to know that is was loved very much and

that he will never be forgotten!!!

We love you Elvis!
