Ember by B & M Thompson / The Thompson’s

One sunny day in March you did arrive
We took you on a far off drive.

Home you came for all to meet
Our new found puppy at our feet.

Waiting at home to greet a friend
Was a big white dog who you helped mend.

Your choice of toys was a teddy bear
But the green tennis ball could not compare.

You filled our hearts for many years
But now we only feel our tears.

We know your happy once again now that you’ve meet up with your two white friends.

Aunties there to feed you treats and all your pains have come to an end.

So here is the final toss of the green tennis ball
Catch it Emmy.

We miss you Red,
