Please don’t be sad that I must leave
For I’m in quite some pain you see.
Once I have left and my pain has gone,
You’ll know you’ve done the right thing for me.

You may not see me, but I’ll still be there,
To comfort you and calm your fears.
I’ll sleep by your bed and walk by your side,
I’ll help and care and love and guide.

So please don’t be sad that I must leave,
My time has come you see.
